The Act gives you rights concerning the privacy of your personal information and it makes Will Trial Lawyers responsible for personal information that we collect and hold. To ensure this accountability, we have developed this policy and trained our lawyers and other employees about our policies and practices.
Why Does Will Trial Lawyers Collect Personal Information?
Will Trial Lawyers collects personal information in order to provide legal services to its clients. Our firm also collects personal information in order to distribute Newsletters in which it provides information pertaining to its law practice and new developments in the law.

Personal Information is any information that identifies you as an individual. We restrict the collection of personal information only to the extent it is required in order to provide legal services to our clients.

This includes managing our client databases. We retain our client case files in order to satisfy the requirements of the Law Society of Ontario. Will Trial Lawyers takes every reasonable precaution in order to protect your personal information. We have retained the services of a reputable and experienced IT Manager who routinely monitors our technological safeguards including but not limited to passwords, software and firewalls, unauthorized computer access, and hacking attempts. Our employees are required to follow all policies and practices pertaining to personal information.
Openness
Will Trial Lawyers is committed to open communication regarding its policies and practices concerning the collection and use of personal information. Should you have any questions regarding our policies in this respect, we would be pleased to assist you.
Individual Access
If you require access to any of the personal information we hold on your behalf, simply contact us and we will make this information available to you. You will be required to reimburse Will Trial Lawyers for any time and expenses associated with your request.
